How far in advance should I book an event?
We recommend booking at least 2–3 weeks in advance to ensure availability and permit coordination. For larger events or specific dates during peak season (spring/summer), 4–6 weeks gives us the best flexibility. That said, we're happy to discuss last-minute requests — reach out and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Do you cater to private properties and restricted areas?
Yes! We operate under NYC restricted-area permits that allow us to set up at private properties, backyards, and approved park locations. We handle all permit coordination with you, so you don't have to worry about the details. Just let us know your venue, and we'll confirm what's needed.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies?
Absolutely. We take allergies and dietary needs seriously. Let us know about any restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, nut allergies, gluten-free, etc.) when you book, and we'll customize the menu and prep accordingly. Fresh, made-to-order means we can adjust on the fly.
What are NYC mobile food vending permit requirements?
We operate under a NYC mobile food vending license and meet all DOHMH sanitary inspection standards. For private-property events, we secure restricted-area permits. For park events, we coordinate with NYC Parks. All permits, inspections, and food-safety compliance are our responsibility — you can book with confidence knowing everything is properly licensed and regulated.
How many guests can you serve for an event?
We're flexible with group size. For small intimate gatherings (10–20 people), we can set up a compact stall. For larger celebrations (50+ guests), we scale up and can prepare higher volumes with the same made-to-order freshness. Let us know your expected guest count when you inquire, and we'll confirm what works best for your event.
What happens in bad weather?
We monitor weather closely leading up to your event. Light rain doesn't stop us — we have cover and prep areas. For severe weather (heavy downpour, high winds), we'll discuss options with you in advance: rescheduling, moving indoors if possible, or adjusting the setup. Your safety and the quality of the experience are our priorities.
Can you customize the menu for my event?
Yes! Panipuri is our signature, but we can mix in other South Asian street-food favorites — different chaat varieties, samosas, or beverage options. Want all panipuri, or a mix?
